Whole Lotta Mothership

A little over a month ago we embarked on the First Annual Turquoise Run - a 3 week jaunt through the Southwest to California and back. Suffice it to say, pretty great inaugural voyage. 10 shows and not one turd in the lot!

One of the many boundless perks of living the ultra-glam life-on-the-road* is watching other fellow van dwellers ply their craft. By the time we arrived in California, Mothership had been plying their way west all the way from from New York through 11 states and it was apparent.

Mothership is a damn tough fuzz trio out of Texas consisting of the Brothers Juett (Kyle on bass and Kelley on guitar) and Judge Smith on drums. These dudes crush live. Like, the hardest. And they know their way around a dice game or two. Please go see this band if they come anywhere near you. With the way these guys travel, they will soon. In fact, here’s pretty much one of the dopest lineups you could ever see them with In Dallas at the Gas Monkey on Sept 10th:

Go to the show. Buy things from them. It’s how we all live.

Love y’all,
QCNH

Real special show for us this week! First off, we get to share a bill with Ian McLagan, someone who has truly impacted rock n roll music as a whole and more than he’ll ever know for us personally as well. Second, it’s our Kessler Theater debut. Couldn’t be more excited about this Friday!
